Otago Central Rail Trail | 1 Day - Self-guided (Grade 1, Easy) 

This all inclusive option makes it easy to experience the original Great Ride!  All biking equipment and associated shuttles are included.  Just turn up and enjoy the ride!

• Experience the most dramatic section of the trail – Poolburn Gorge with a 37m high viaduct 
• Cycle through two amazing tunnels and stop by a secluded gorge 
• Pass through the settlements of Lauder, Omakau and Chatto Creek 
• Enjoy the famous Southern hospitality at delightful cafés along the way 
• Perfect for families and those after a leisurely ride - the trail is nice and gentle

Choose your distance:

>> Auripo to Chatto Creek | 30km | 2-3 hours ride time

>> Auripo to Clyde | 49km | 3-4 hours ride time

Check-in: Kiwi Journeys Cromwell at 8.30am for a 9am departure bound for Auripo
Return: Connect Chatto Creek at 3pm or Clyde at 4pm for return shuttle to Cromwell, arriving 4.30pm
